Terms of use
What this service is
ReceivableLedger is software. We are the vendor: you buy the subscription from Ellul Solutions Ltd directly, and there is no third party between us. We introduce you to nobody, we sell your details to nobody, and we take no commission from anyone for sending you anywhere. We aim to keep the service available at all times and to keep your data recoverable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. If we plan work that will take the service offline we tell subscribers first. You can export your customers, invoices and statements at any time while your subscription is active and for 90 days after it ends.
How we are paid
You pay us, and that is the whole of how this business is funded: a monthly subscription to ReceivableLedger Pro, sold to businesses. Nothing on this site is an advertisement we are paid for, and no figure or recommendation here is influenced by a commission, because there is none. Price, renewal date and cancellation route are shown before you pay and stated again in your account. Purchase is offered to people acting for purposes related to their trade or profession. Where a consumer nonetheless buys, the statutory cancellation and digital content rights are honoured in full rather than excluded.
Online payments. When you connect your own Stripe account and take a payment through a pay link, ReceivableLedger charges a platform fee of 1% of that payment, in addition to Stripe's own processing fee. Stripe deducts both from the payment before it is paid out to you; ReceivableLedger never holds your customers' money. The rate that applies is the one shown in your account on the day the pay link is created, and a change to it applies only to links created afterwards.
The free tools
The free tools on this site are provided as working documents for small businesses that bill on account. Their output is arithmetic on the figures entered. They do not tell you what sales tax applies, what payment terms or late fees your state allows, or whether a customer will pay, and they are not a contract, a demand for payment or tax advice.
No warranty
Nothing on this site is tax, legal, credit or collections advice. Which sales tax applies to what you sell, what late fee and interest a state allows on an overdue balance, what a proforma may and may not be used for at customs, and how a debt may lawfully be collected are questions for your state and your own adviser. The tools work your figures; they publish none.
